Our story

Eighteen years on Boulevard Saint-Jean.

Olympia opened in Dollard-Des-Ormeaux in 2008 with one idea: Greek charcoal grilling and North Indian and Pakistani cooking belong on the same table, and every plate of it should be 100% halal.

What began as a neighbourhood grill has grown into three houses under one roof — a two-hundred-seat restaurant, a reception hall that hosts four hundred, and a catering kitchen that travels across greater Montréal. The same family runs all three; the same tandoors and charcoal pits feed them.

Walk in at lunch and a bowl of soup lands before your menu does — on the house, the way it has been since day one.

What guests keep writing

Two hundred reviews, the same four words.

Read through our Google reviews and the pattern repeats — generous portions, fresh from the tandoor, staff who treat a table of forty like a table of two, and a room that feels dressed up without asking you to be.
